A very good potential for Pokemon Replays

In case you haven’t seen the latest Pokemon “game” to take advantage of the 3D enviroment, then check out this video:

That said, now imagine a game that translates the videos over from the Black & White that have already been loaded into PGL via a Wifi connection. Since B&W is not compatible with the Wii PBR, I feel this would be a very nice way to exploit the 3DS aspects of the game, since most of the Pokemon are already animated, at least the Unova region ones.

Along with the international tournament that has just been announced, this could be the way to distribute all battles and generate a great hype not only for compettive play, but for the franchise itself. Anyone else feels the potential behind this?

I have a baaaad feeling about this…

Damn You WoW!

I must say that WoW has become more of a social aspect rather than an entertaining game. I mean I still login, do my daily quests, daily random dungeon and daily random BG. But I’m not in it for the thrill of the dailies, or even the unbalanced PvP. I mean ret paladins are imba, everyone knows it, you may argue that their damage is more AOE, that you can do X or Y…..but come on, let’s be honest, a class that can stun and kill you in three shots is not imba? Don’t be blind. Anyway, that’s not what this post it about, the thing is that I’ve tried other games, one of my favorites is Champions Online, however i must admit that WoW has ruined my way of thinking, the social aspect is something I now judge on games.

Slowly quiting WoW, quickly joining EvE

Posted in General, Weekly Wrap with tags , , on 24/08/2010 by ceipe

What a strange trip it has been indeed. I’ve been a WoW player for over 4 years now, seeing it evolve from the 40man to the 10/25 man format. I saw how raids evolved from execution checks, to gear checks, how the world was expanded and we needed to move to a different planet…or part of it…to continue fighting the forces of evil. I got into the lore because I love dragons and WoW is one of the few mythical stories where dragons are not savage creatures, but sentient, thinking and magical. It was probably here that things might’ve started to go wrong for me, I’ll come back to it later. Just as BC was ending, there was an explosion of gear exchange for the single badge given away as the Sunwell was opened and items which where in most cases better than tier 5 became available for running mere heroics. This was the downfall of the epic feeling through the loot piñatas. And thus….the downfall for me began… Read more »

Where did WoW go wrong for me?

Hello ther peeps. I just wanted to put it out there where did WoW went wrong, how did it go from such a nice game with awesome memories, which I still have, to the point where I decided that it was time for me to move on. I must say that this was one of the hardest decisions I had to make and keep up with, since most of my RL friends continued playing WoW, thus luring me back in constantly. Finally they left WoW as well leaving only a handfull of them, so the peer pressure was off, heh. Well, let’s not wonder off, let’s get started. Read more »

Bright new future for WoW Minis

Posted in WoW Minis with tags , on 22/06/2010 by ceipe

While I love the format of this game, there are some things that I think should be…let’s say perfected. Some I view as a miniatures games player and others as a WoW player. So, lets get started. Read more »
